Movie Review: Lilo & Stitch

I watched this movie “Lilo & Stitch” at the library. This movie was shown in 2002 in the United States and it was shown in 2003 in Japan. This is Disney movie. It was directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders and it was produced by Clark Spencer.

This is story of friendship and love of a family. I like this movie and I could enjoy but I cried because it was nice to make a family.

The main characters are Lilo, Nani, David, Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley and Bubbles. Lilo is a girl who lines in Kauai island with her sister and she wants friends. Nani is an older sister of Lilo who lives in Kauai island with Lilo. David is a boyfriend of Nani. Stitch is a blue alien which has four arms, two legs and antennae. It is very cute but it is very strong and it likes to destroy many things. It doesn’t have a family. Jumba invented Stitch as a prototype. Bubbles is a social worker.

The parents of Lilo and Nani died so they live in there by only them and Lilo don’t have best friend and she worry about friends. She wanted friends. Nani often hit Lilo and she didn’t clean their house. Then Bubbles visited at their house and he tried to keep Lilo. One day Lilo hit a friend so she lost her friend she was fighting with her sister. She always feels loneliness and she wanted to have a dog. Nani knew about Lilo’s loneliness and she allowed having a dog. Then at the space Stitch was let go to the earth because Stitch was a very violence and dangerous alien. The place which Stitch went was Kauai in Hawaii. One day Lilo and Stitch went to pets shop and Lilo found Stitch. She likes it very much and she decided to have it as her pet. Nina and the clerk didn’t want her to have it because it doesn’t look like a dog. Lilo wanted to have it. They decided to have Stitch. Stitch destroyed many things so Nina didn’t like it but Lilo likes it. Lilo wanted to be a friend with Stitch but Stitch could not understand Lilo’s feelings. As the months roll around, Stitch could understand about happy, sad, loneliness and families. They could enjoy their times very much but then Stitch tried to be taken to the space by Jumba and Pleakley but Stitch wanted to live in there with Lilo. He ran away desperately from Jumba and Pleakley. However he was finally caught with Lilo. Nina got angry and asked to bring her back. Then stitch ran away but Lilo could not run away. Nina cooperated with Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley and finally Lilo came back. Everyone was very happy and Stitch could to be a member of Lilo’s family. They called their family “Ohana”.

I like this movie very much because I like Stitch and I could enjoy. I want to see Lilo & Stitch2.

I watched School of Rock at library. It was shown in 2003 in the United State and it was shown in 2004 in Japan. This movie’s kind is comedy. I could enjoy this movie and I could laugh many times. The main characters are Dewey Finn, Ned Schneebly, and children. Jack Black acted as Dewey Finn, he loves rock music bottom from heart and he belonged rock band member whose name “No Vacancy” but he was fired the band. Mike White acted as Ned Schneebly, he is a teacher and he lives with his girlfriend and Dewey. Dewey was said “Pay rent for the apartment.” But he didn’t have money so he wanted a lot of money.

One day he heard that Schneebly will be hired as a teacher of a famous private school. Dewey wanted money so worked as Mr. Schneebly. He was called Mr.S. That school was very strict and the children studied very hard. Dewey didn’t have a license and he didn’t teach about math, English, science, society and so on. He taught about Rock and formed rock band with children. Children have ability to play musical instruments and sing songs. The name of the band is School of Rock. This name was named by children. It was a secret to formed band because it was very important to study hard for children at this school. Dewey wanted money so he decided to take part in contest with children and get a lot of money. He was helped by children when they didn’t take part in the first contest. Children have a good idea that they pretense to patients. They could take part in the second contest by that way. Then Schneebly was given check from the school and knew that Dewey worked as Schneebly. He was very surprised and his girlfriend called to police. Finally everyone knew that Schneebly was not true teacher. Everyone got angry and parents objected principal. At the day, it was held the second contest so children went to the house of Dewey to pick him up. Their parents and principal knew that and they went to the place where it was held contest. School of Rock played wonderful music and everyone was stirred by them. Their parents were especially impressed and that made their parents happy. School of Rock was encored and they could spend special time. Dewey and Schneebly taught rock to children after school. The time was very good time for children and they could enjoy to play music.

I like this movie and I could watch it. I want to meet such as this teacher someday. I don’t like rock music because it is a loud music. But after I watched this movie I could think rock music is fun.

I watched Mrs. Doubtfire at library. This movie was shown in 1993 in the United States and it was shown in 1994 in Japan. This is story of love of family. I like this movie because my heart was made warm. It was directed by Chris Columbus. The main characters are Daniel Hillard and Mrs. Doubtfire (Robin Williams), Miranda (Sally Field), Lydia (Lisa Jakub), Christopher (Matthew Lawrene) and Natalie (Mara Wilson). Daniel is father and Miranda is mother of three children, Lydia, Christopher and Natalie. Daniel worked as dabber but he quitted it because the ideas were different from the ideas of company. Miranda works very hard at company and house. Their children are students and they love their parents. Daniel held a birthday party of Chris. He called a mobile zoo and prepared a lot of confectionery. They could enjoy and they spent special time. Miranda found it and got angry very much. They fought and she decided to divorce her husband, Daniel. He didn’t want to divorce and he didn’t want to live away from their children but Miranda’s decision didn’t change. Daniel could not win the suit and he could not see his children only once a week. He had to live by himself but he was dying to see children. After a few days he knew that Mira was raising a housekeeper. Daniel could work as a housekeeper by using the knack of acting with his voice and by disguising as an old woman. Everyone didn’t notice that an old woman, Mrs. Doubtfire was Daniel. One day Chris saw Mrs. Doubtfire in the bathroom and Lydia and Chris noticed that a woman was their father but they didn’t tell the truth to anybody. Miranda, Mrs. Doubtfire and children went to many place and they smile all the time. Finally everyone knew that Mrs. Doubtfire was Daniel. They were very surprised and Miranda was very angry. Daniel was treated as a perversion and he couldn’t see his children only them. He was watched when he see children. He and his children were very sad. One day Miranda and children watched a TV program of Mrs. Doubtfire and Daniel acted her. This TV program very popular and it was very interesting. Miranda felt that her children need father and she visited Daniel. She asked him to look after their children every afternoon. He was very happy and their children were very happy too. I like this movie because I like comedy movie very much. I could enjoy watching and I couldn’t help laughing. I heard the divorce is increasing in the United States and Japan too. I think it is not good for children because children need parents and love of them. I want to see this movie again.

I watched Romeo and Juliet at library. I like this movie because I like love story. This movie was made Leonardo DiCaprio version over. It was shown in 1996 in United States and it was shown in 1997 in Japan. It was directed by Baz Luhrmann and it was produced Twentieth Century Fox Film. The main characters are Romeo (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet (Claire Danes). This is story of sad love story.
Romeo was born as child of the house of Montague and Juliet was born as child of the Capulet. The Montague and the Capulet antagonized each other. They were always fighting with guns.
One day Romeo worried about his love and his parents worried about him. His parents asked their cousin to wrested Romeo’s worry from him. While they were talking they decided to go to the party of Capulet with disguise. Then Romeo and Juliet met at the party and they fell in love with each other at the moment. They didn’t know that they are antagonized. The parents of Juliet want her to marry man who was chosen as ideal single man, but Juliet didn’t want to marry him. She loves Romeo. Romeo loves her too. They know that they are antagonized and they were disappointed. Juliet talked to herself “Why are you Romeo?” this line is very famous. They can’t stop their love. They married secretly.
Romeo killed a man who is cousin of Juliet because the man killed Romeo’s friend. Romeo banished from his country. Juliet was very sad. She had to marry with a man but she didn’t want to marry, so she pretended to died. Romeo’s friend believed that Juliet died and he told Romeo. Romeo was very sad and he decided to kill himself in front of Juliet. Juliet waked up right after he took deadly poison and he died. Juliet was very sad and cried. She decided to kill herself by gun which Romeo had. They died together.
I like love story but I like happy ending and I felt sad after I watched this movie. If I were Juliet, I would kill myself because I can’t stand grief. I could enjoy watching this movie and I want to watch again. I want to see this movie as musical someday.

I watched Kill Bill. It was produced by Miramax Films, and it was directed by Quentin Tarantino. It was shown in 2003 in the United States and in Japan. This movie is story of vengeance. The main characters are The Bride (Uma Thurman), Bill (David Carradine), Vernita Green (Vivica Anjanetta Fox), O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu), Gogo Yubari (Chiaki Kuriyama) and Hattori Hanzou (Shinichi Chiba).
The Bride belonged to killer group, it is called DiVAS. The leader of this group is Bill.
The Bride left this group because she got pregnant. She was assaulted in the middle of her wedding by 4 followers of Bill. Her husband was killed by them and she was critically injured. Therefore she was sleeping for four years. She decided to vengeance on followers. The followers are Vernita Green, O-Ren Ishii and the other people. O-Ren had many followers and one of them is Gogo Yubari. She is a high school student but she killed many people. At first the Bride went to Vernita’s house to kill her. They fought and The Bride killed Vernita in front of her child. Next to The Bride went to Japan to make a Japanese sword by Hattori Hanzou. He is very popular among people who make Japanese swords. The Bride got best Japanese sword from he and she went to kill O-Ren. She fought with Gogo and many followers of O-Ren and she finally killed them. At last The Bride fought with O-Ren, The Bride was injured by her but The Bride killed her. Her vengeance succeeded.
I watched much blood and grotesque scenes in this movie. I was wondered that the scenes of animation were sometimes shown. I don’t think I will watch Kill Bill vol.2
I am not good at watch much blood and grotesque scenes.

Movie Review: Toy Story

I saw Toy Story. It was produced by Pixar Animation Studios, and it was directed by John Lasseter. It was shown in 1995 in the United States, and it was shown in 1996 in Japan. This movie is story of toy’s world.
I could see connections with toys and people. The characters of this movie are Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Andy, Sid and toys. Woody is a toy, and he is a leader of Andy’s toy. He is a constable of western and he can speak if he is pulled string on his back. Andy likes Woody best.Tom Hunks acted his voice. Buzz Lightyear is a toy too. He has some high tech functions and he believed that he is not toy, real space ranger. He thought he can fly the sky, repair spaceships and knock down opponents. Tim Allen acted his voice. Andy is a little boy and he likes toys very much. There are many toys in his room to play with Andy. John Morris acted his voice. Andy’s family would move in a few days. Sid is a little boy too, but he likes break his toys. Toys were afraid of him. Sid is a neighbor of Andy.
One day, at Andy’s birthday party Andy gave present of Buzz Lightyear and Andy likes him, Andy prefer Buzz than Woody. Woody felt jealousy for Buzz. One day Andy and her mother would go to Pizza Planet with one toy. Woody thought Andy takes Buzz. Woody wanted to go with Andy, so Woody played up toward Buzz. Buzz accidentally dropped down from window of second floor. Other toys saw it, they couldn’t believe Woody. Ultimately Andy took Woody because Buzz was dropped. Buzz saw Andy was leaving home and he found Woody. They fought at gas station and they were left behind at there. After a few minutes, Pizza Planet’s car came there. Woody and Buzz got on the car and they went to Pizza Planet. They could find Andy, but Buzz took game machine for spaceship and Buzz went into that. It is machine to catch toys. Then Sid came there and started to play. Finally Buzz and Woody were caught and took Sid’s home. His room was scary because there were many strange toys. Woody and Buzz wanted to go back Andy’s room as soon as possible. When they tried to run away from Sid’s room Andy’s toys didn’t help them because they didn’t believe Woody and Buzz noticed that he is just a toy and he can’t fly the sky, repair spaceships and knock down opponents. He was very disappointed and he lost his motivation. Sid tried breaking Buzz with rocket but Woody wanted to stop it and requested to help from Sid’s toys. They started tactics to save Buzz. Success rewarded them for their efforts and the tactics could tell Sid to cherish toys. On same day Andy’s family would move, Woody and Buzz said thank you and good bye to Sid’s toys and ran hurriedly to save the moving but they could save. They chased Andy with Andy’s toy, radio controlled model car. But the battery of it was run out. They were very depressed, at the time they noticed that they had rocket and they could fly the sky. Woody said we are flying but Buzz said we were falling with style. They could go back to Andy, Andy was very happy because he can play with his favorite toys again. Woody and Buzz were also happy and they became best friends.
This movie is very interesting story because it wasn’t written world of people. It is famous in Japan but I had never seen this movie. It is difficult for me to understand differences of expression between English and Japanese but I could enjoy this movie. I want to see Toy story 2 in English.

Toy Story

I watched Toy story.
This movie is story of toy's world, it is very interesting.
The main characters are Woody, Buzz and Andy.
I must write review this movie but it is difficult for me because English of movie is very difficult.
I'll do my best!

I love movies!

Yesterday, I went to see the cinema. The name of it is "Holiday". It is a love story.
The main character are 2 women and 2 men. 1 woman and 1 man live in LA, they are friends. And the other live in England, they are brother.
Women exchange of their houses with each other.
So a woman who comes from LA falls in love with a men who lives in England.
And a woman who comes from England falls in love a man who lives LA.
Their loves have come true.
And they lived happily ever after...

It is very interesting! I want women to see! Especially...who broken heart...
